We are seeking a qualified Neurologist specializing in headache management to contribute to the mission of the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medical services to patients experiencing neurological disorders in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
- Participate in the rotation of inpatient neurology services, supervising residents and medical students, while also being available for on-call clinical responsibilities, including weekends.
- Oversee specialized headache clinics and perform advanced interventions, such as administering Botulinum toxin treatments for headache relief.
- Independently manage an outpatient headache clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Exhibit strong collaborative skills within a large healthcare organization, working across various departments to enhance patient outcomes.
- Engage in clinical research and academic projects in partnership with the VA and affiliated educational institutions.
- Possibility of providing telehealth services in coordination with Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (On-call duties are part of the role).
