Job Title: Senior Inventory Cost Accountant

At Antora Energy, we're committed to stopping climate change by unlocking zero-emissions industrial energy. As a Senior Inventory Cost Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete daily and period-end close activities for inventory and related inventory reserves.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Cost and Landed Cost processes.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Production, Operations, and Logistics departments to ensure accurate recording of inventory data and cost allocations.
  • Manage inventory cycle count program and resolve daily inventory accounting and exception system reports.
  • Protect inventory integrity by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • Update and track project costs for incurred expenses and accruals.
  • Assist with financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Accounting/Finance or similar.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong focus on inventory and job costing.
  • Proven experience with GAAP and relevant accounting software (e.g., NetSuite).
