Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as an Aquatics Lifeguard. As a key member of our pool team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pool Safety and Rescue
    • Monitor the pool deck and water areas to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies
    • Administer first aid and perform rescues as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Greet and interact with members in a friendly and professional manner
    • Provide information and assistance to members regarding pool rules and regulations
  • Pool Maintenance and Cleaning
    • Ensure the pool area is clean and free of hazards
    • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
    • Lifeguard and First Aid Certification
  • Physical Abilities
    • Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
    • Ability to tread water for 1 minute
    • Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
  • Communication Skills
    • Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
Preferred Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience
    • 6 months of customer service experience
Compensation and Benefits

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.75 and pays up to $17.75, based on experience and qualifications. All team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:
