Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Lead to join our team at Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello. This is a full-time, day shift position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The Nurse Lead will provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff on the medical surgical unit, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve quality and safety goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including staffing plans and patient flow.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • At least 5 years of technical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
