Nurse Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Operations Director to oversee the clinical operations of our nursing units, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with organizational policies. This role is vital in maintaining adequate staffing and enhancing patient satisfaction.

The estimated salary for this position is $40.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on national averages and industry standards.

The Nurse Operations Director will be responsible for leading, guiding, and directing the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model and processes
• Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel
• Participating in staff mentorship, recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommending employee promotions, transfers, and terminations

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

• A current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
• A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care
• One year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity
