Job Title: Physical Therapy Professional

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. This includes assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, directing physical therapy treatment, and instructing patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care.
  • Assesses and evaluates therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status.
  • Directs physical therapy treatment.
  • Instructs patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.
  • Determines priority needs for physical therapy.
  • Reports to physician patient's reaction to treatment or changes in condition.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses a degree from a program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
  • Licensed to practice as a physical therapist within the state.
  • Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist. Community/home health experience.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
