Tasting Room Ambassador/Server

About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ambassador to join our team at Maryhill Winery's Vancouver Tasting Room & Bistro. As an Ambassador, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting our wine offerings, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Recommend wine pairings and answer questions about our products
  • Ensure that all interactions with customers are professional, friendly, and courteous
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our wine offerings and company history
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in hospitality or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of wine and wine-related topics
  • Ability to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Washington State Food Handlers certification required
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
