Job Summary

The Janitor (PT) is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the building, including interior and exterior spaces. This role requires flexibility to take on non-routine cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain floors, windows, and mirrors
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and well-stocked with supplies
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas
  • Dust surfaces throughout the building
  • Empty trash and remove waste
  • Replace light bulbs as needed
  • Report any safety concerns or needed repairs to the supervisor
  • Clean spills and other hazards using appropriate equipment
  • Organize and maintain janitorial storage areas
  • Assist with setup and cleanup for special events
  • Maintain outdoor areas such as the parking lot and break area
Requirements
  • Must be able to communicate in English for job-related instructions and safety
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong time management skills to work efficiently
  • Capable of performing routine maintenance on building systems
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous janitorial or maintenance experience required
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Exposure to varying temperatures
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, push/pull, and reach overhead for extended periods
  • Ability to physically handle climbing ladders, bending, or crawling in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm
