Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Laborer to join our team at Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) Managed Technical Services LLC. This position provides the opportunity to work on various construction projects, including telecommunications network construction, maintenance, and service installation and repair. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks, such as flagging, shovel/broom work, hand digging, and job site clean-up. You will also assist in trenching work, concrete work, building fences, and mini-excavator work. Additionally, you will be required to read underground utility locates and ensure safe digging practices are always being adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs manual labor tasks, such as flagging, shovel/broom work, hand digging, and job site clean-up.
  • Assists in trenching work, concrete work, building fences, and mini-excavator work.
  • Reads underground utility locates and ensures safe digging practices are always being adhered to.
  • Assists in installing telecommunication fixtures, handling cables, conduits, and other materials.

Requirements:
  • At least one year of related construction/telecommunications experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures.
  • Electrical experience is an asset.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driver's abstract and valid full-driver's license.

Work Conditions:
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
  • Able to travel to West Virginia for training for at least 3 weeks, then transfer to future work in Indiana.
