Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist

Located in the Oklahoma City metro area, Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system that has emerged as a beacon of workplace excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program is seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to expand our team.
We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and have invested in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, which will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide patient care, prepare equipment, and maintain a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a formal education in Radiologic Technology or a Cardiovascular program, hold appropriate certifications, and maintain Basic and Advanced Life Support training.
Responsibilities:- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support within six months of hire.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27.84-$45.46 based on previous work experience.
