Reporting Structure:

This position will report directly to the Office Manager and will interact with various team members including physical therapists, assistants, other receptionists, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all copayments and necessary transactions
  • Coordinate patient scheduling for upcoming appointments
  • Welcome and greet patients and visitors
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Make necessary outbound calls
  • Manage supply orders as needed
  • Perform scanning, faxing, and printing tasks

Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates holding a professional administrative assistant certification. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in office or clerical roles, along with proficiency in computer skills and medical billing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and professionals. Familiarity with filing systems and office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and multi-line phone systems is also required.

Work Environment:

The role is situated in a standard office setting, where the individual may encounter infections, contagious diseases, and confidential patient information.

Physical Requirements:
