Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Tech to lead our imaging department. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow. You will oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow.
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
  • Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program.
  • One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
