Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is a critical member of the Hilton Albany team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reports. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions, including front desk, food and beverage, and other revenue streams.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Review, organize, and compile management reports on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Guest Billing and City Ledger Transactions: Verify the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management, as well as perform guest service agent duties as required.
  • Physical Requirements: Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Guest Service Experience: Preferred, but not required.
  • Computer Knowledge and Skills: Required, including basic arithmetic functions and ability to work with financial data.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary work, with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hilton Albany Standards.
  • Comply with AFP Management standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
