PROMESA R.H.C.F. is a leading organization in the field of mental health services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Coordinator to join our team. As a Mental Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to clients, including therapy sessions and group facilitation. You will also coordinate with primary counselors to ensure comprehensive care for clients with special needs.

**Responsibilities:**
  1. Conduct initial psychosocial history interviews with all clients during the admission/orientation phase.
  2. Conduct mental health status determinations during admission/orientation phase and at other appropriate times during treatment phases.
  3. Coordinate all mental health treatment and referrals for clients in all phases.
  4. Consult with primary counselors on clients with special needs.
  5. Provide supervision or treatment of cases requiring social worker level involvement by managed care or other referral agencies.
  6. Attend seminars and training on pertinent issues.
  7. Develop and maintain referral linkages with outside agencies and organizations to meet client needs.
  8. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and case conferences.

Education and Requirements:
  • Masters of Social Work from an accredited institution, required.
  • Two years postgraduate experience providing social work services, preferably serving chemically dependent and mentally ill individuals.
  • Previous relevant experience delivering social services in a DHS regulations shelter environment.
  • Knowledge of DHS policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $58,000 - $63,000 per year, based on relevant experience.
