About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiology Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Enter patient demographics and other information into the PACS system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Transfer images to physician stations for interpretation, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Gather radiology reports and films needed for the next business day, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Collect radiology films and reports requested by patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • State licensure as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
