Position Summary: The University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a skilled physician for a hospitalist and ambulatory general Internal Medicine role situated in Omaha, Nebraska. The selected individual will collaborate with a team of experienced specialists adept in managing complex cases, delivering exceptional care to adult patients. Nebraska Medicine, our hospital partner, has been recognized for two decades by U.S. News & World Report as one of America's Best Hospitals and the leading hospital in Nebraska. Key aspects of this opportunity include:

  1. A blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities available across teaching, non-teaching, and surgical co-management services. The role may involve supervising medical students and residents while pursuing various academic interests.
  2. Direct patient care is integral to the position, enabling faculty to maintain their diagnostic acumen and enhance their teaching capabilities.

Applicants will become part of a vibrant, diverse, and enthusiastic group of physicians. The ideal candidate must possess an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) and be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a passion for outpatient internal medicine, are essential.
