The Quality Systems Engineer role encompasses a broad spectrum of expertise aimed at ensuring that products are devoid of defects and operate as intended. The QSE will engage in guaranteeing high reliability and optimal performance in accordance with product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the effective execution of the Quality Management System across the organization, including all relevant quality accreditations.
- Organize and oversee the Internal Audit Program at the site.
- Lead a cross-functional team of auditors in the capacity of 'Lead Auditor'.
- Facilitate external audits.
- Evaluate audit findings and establish appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Assess the current and future procedural requirements of the organization.
- Maintain site procedural documentation and coordinate the distribution of these materials.
- Support and implement additional functional areas as required by the Group Business Management Systems (GBMS) for the site.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Compile quality data for monitoring performance targets.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to processes and mitigate the risk of non-conformities related to products, processes, or systems.
- Assist other functional areas with Quality Compliance requirements.
- Manage the site Qpulse (Electronic Quality Management System) and provide assistance to other functional areas as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is mandatory. May require working nights, weekends, and additional hours as necessary.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
- Education: A post-secondary degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that enables successful performance of job expectations.
- Experience: Minimum years of relevant experience.
- Skills:
- Proficient understanding of complex Quality Engineering processes and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced knowledge and capability to implement core engineering concepts.
- Competence in interpreting internal and external business challenges and making recommendations for product, process, or service enhancements.
- Ability to convey a range of complex technical information.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
- Must possess substantial ASD experience.

The compensation for this position is $$ hourly; however, the offered pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This compensation information is provided in accordance with applicable law and is influenced by market location.
