Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Outpatient Counselor to join our team. As an Outpatient Counselor, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing counseling, education, and support to help them achieve their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients with substance use disorders and other behavioral health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and cultural sensitivity.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic interviews to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Document client progress and outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our behavioral health services.
- Build relationships with community partners, providers, and resources to ensure seamless referrals and wrap-around services for clients.
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) registration or certification through the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO).
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in a human services field.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including Native American clients and communities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network effectively with community and tribal agencies.
- First Aid and CPR certification, with the ability to acquire within six months of hire.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and eligibility to drive a GSA vehicle.
The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians offers a competitive salary range of $24.00-$31.01 per hour, as well as a sign-on bonus of $2000. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
