Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at StaffSource, LLC.

About the Role: As a Land Surveyor with our company, you will be responsible for performing various surveys, including boundary, control, topographic, construction layout, and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field work by performing survey functions
  • Performs surveys such as boundary, control, topographic, construction layout, and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying
  • Future potential to perform some of the survey tasks in the office – CAD experience is a plus
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in land surveying will be considered
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a land surveyor
  • Experience with the use of GPS is a must; experience with Drones, Robotic Total Station, and data collectors a plus
  • Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
  • Good driving record
  • Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs
  • Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment
