Job Overview

Acorn Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our 10-doctor practice, you will be responsible for providing medical and surgical care to a variety of patients, including acute and chronic disease cases, as well as routine and advanced surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to patients, including client education and preventive care for wellness patients
  • Collaborate with our DVM team and skilled support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Enhance your practical veterinary skills through regular CE opportunities, including seminars and wet labs, in-house training, and additional professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment that promotes exceptional animal care and a healthy work-life balance
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA accredited university, or equivalent
  • Active veterinarian license to practice in the state of MA, or license-eligible
  • Experience in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine, as well as general surgery and/or general dentistry
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standard of medicine and adhering to the veterinary code of ethics
