Veterinarian Care Specialist

Serving pet families in Santa Fe, Heartstrings Pet Hospice provides a unique opportunity for veterinarians to reconnect with pet owners and provide compassionate care in the comfort of their homes. Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer health insurance plans, mileage reimbursement, quarterly productivity bonuses, retirement plans, life insurance, paid time off, bereavement leave, paid parental leave, and professional training and development opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
Veterinarians at Heartstrings Pet Hospice will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, guiding families in making end-of-life decisions and building relationships with local veterinary clinics. A valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and manual dexterity are required.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree and at least one year of practicing experience as a veterinarian. They should also be comfortable with prolonged periods of driving and maintaining steady hands while using medical tools.
