Job Summary

The Army National Guard is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Avenger Crewmembers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Avenger surface-to-air missile system, designed to identify, track, and engage enemy targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the Avenger system, including electronic, hydraulic, radar, and mechanical components
  • Perform target engagement evaluations and operate friend-or-foe identification equipment
  • Transport, prepare, reload, and resupply missiles and ammunition
  • Establish and maintain radio communications
  • Drive and maintain vehicles, and secure battle positions
Requirements
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
