JT4 LLC is a leader in providing engineering and technical support across various western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, known as J-Tech II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a pivotal member of the electrical maintenance trades team, the incumbent will leverage extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, structural, locksmith, and plumbing systems to oversee on-site repairs of facilities, machinery, and related equipment. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing expert guidance and technical support to team members in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Leading and coordinating the installation and repair of various electrical equipment.
  • Training team members to interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Instructing staff on standard calculations related to electrical load requirements.
  • Overseeing the proper use of hand tools and testing instruments by team members.
  • Collaborating with management to develop budgets and track project completion.
  • Contributing to performance evaluations of team members.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily conducted outdoors, with potential indoor tasks in repair facilities. The role may involve exposure to moderate noise levels and extreme weather conditions. Travel to remote work sites may be required. Physical demands include frequent bending, stretching, and lifting/carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, with heavier items requiring assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess:
  • A degree from a two-year accredited technical institution or equivalent experience, including formal apprenticeship training.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, demonstrating journeyman-level proficiency in one or more building trades (Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC).
  • Current knowledge of hand tool usage and familiarity with technical terminology related to electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications for record-keeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A valid state driver's license and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
