The Staff Pad is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Full-Time Sales Associate to join their team at Executive Airport in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for providing exceptional sales service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers to the store and provide top-notch sales service, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Assess customers' needs, provide detailed information on product features, and offer personalized product demonstrations and recommendations.
  • Process POS transactions accurately, including handling returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring merchandise is presented in a neat and visually appealing manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals, driving business success.
  • Actively seek out customers in the store, cross-sell products, and upsell to drive sales revenue.
  • Build strong, productive relationships with customers and handle inquiries and complaints efficiently, effectively resolving issues.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and checking merchandise deliveries, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory/stock.
  • Work closely with the Buying team for stock replenishment and the Marketing team for promotions, staying up-to-date on product offerings and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and airport regulations, including assisting with customs procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish.
  • Ability to clear a background check.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to be at work on time each day of your schedule, with the ability to pick up additional shifts as needed.
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions.
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
