Job Title: Automotive Maintenance Technician

Bridgestone Retail Operations is part of Bridgestone Americas, a leading tire and automotive services company. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Automotive Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be able to diagnose and repair complex issues.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Install and perform tire maintenance, including tire rotations and balancing
  • Change oil and/or transmission fluid and filters
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, exhaust systems, and check electrical systems
  • Road test vehicles to ensure proper functioning
Requirements
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
  • Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles
  • Experience in automotive service industry preferred
  • Reading, writing, and math skills
