Behavior Analyst/Assistant Behavior Analyst Job Opportunity

Kona Medical Consulting is seeking a skilled Behavior Analyst or Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team in Woodbridge, VA. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral health conditions.
  • Provide direct patient care using evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and closely monitor progress towards treatment goals, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including special education teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the presence and severity of behavioral health conditions, utilizing your expertise to inform treatment decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessment results, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or BCBA certification is required, along with a license in the state of Virginia.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other behavioral health conditions is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles is necessary, as well as familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans is crucial.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation procedures for behavioral health conditions is necessary.

Job Type:

This is a full-time, part-time, or contract position, with a 40-hour workweek schedule. You will have the flexibility to choose your own hours, with some weekend work required.

The salary for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience and education.
