Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Senior to Lead Security Integration Technician. This role is vital to our operations and presents the opportunity to significantly impact the safety and security of our projects.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of sophisticated security systems, including CCTV, access control, and video surveillance.

This position allows for engagement with cutting-edge technology and provides a unique chance to enhance the overall safety and efficiency of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of intricate security systems, including CCTV, access control, Genetec, Software House, Honeywell, DMP, and video surveillance.
  • Execute structured cabling and low voltage wiring for security systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify hardware and software issues related to security systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure seamless integration of security systems into projects.
  • Conduct regular system evaluations to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior technicians.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and security regulations and best practices.
  • Stay informed about advancements in security technology and suggest enhancements to existing systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation for security systems, procedures, and incidents.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in security system installation and maintenance, particularly in the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with CCTV, access control, Genetec, Software House, Honeywell, DMP, low voltage, and structured cabling.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair security system hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex security systems to non-technical team members.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience guiding a team of technicians.
  • Familiarity with safety and security regulations within the construction industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Willingness to stay current with advancements in security technology and continuously enhance technical skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
