Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for our mechanics on heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Create engaging lesson plans, training materials, and assessments to ensure effective learning and knowledge retention.
  • Provide hands-on training to mechanics in our dealership, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our mechanics and the industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, incorporating this knowledge into our training programs.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience teaching or training others in a professional setting, with a focus on adult learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Cummins engine experience is a plus, as is experience with other heavy-duty truck engines.
