About the RoleThis part-time position offers a competitive per-visit pay structure, allowing for a higher work-life balance. As a Home Health Physical Therapist with Neogen Care, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in Hesperia, CA, and surrounding areas, providing skilled physical therapy treatment and training to help them achieve their maximum potential.
- Plan and administer prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients suffering from various injuries, illnesses, and functional disabilities.
- Test and screen patients' physical strengths to assist physicians in evaluating their level of function and recording findings to develop or pursue treatment programs.
- Develop and implement a conditioning/rehabilitation program consistent with physician's Plan of Treatment and the overall goals of the patient/rehab team.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An advanced degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an institution accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- A current and unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of California.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
- Ability to care for patients with different personalities and assess patient condition and work with treatment plans.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience in an institutional setting and a home health agency.
