We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at InsideHigherEd. Key Responsibilities- Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights to inform policy decisions, program needs, and student flourishing across divisions and departments.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct quantitative, qualitative, or mixed research methods to assess student learning and program effectiveness.
- Data Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other visualizations to make institutional data more accessible and available.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with campus stakeholders to identify research needs and develop solutions.
- Equity and Inclusion: Engage in research practices that promote strengths-based frameworks and contribute to campus-wide efforts to further equity and inclusion goals.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of graduate/professional experience in higher education, social science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Skills: Proficient with SPSS, R, or similar quantitative analysis tool. Experience with qualitative methods, project management, and data visualization software.
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly about institutional research data and assessment methods and results.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000-$61,350, depending on experience.
