Job Summary

The SpOT Clinic is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to join our team at our Owens Cross Roads location. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to provide direct therapy to children ages 0-21 years old.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized physical therapy to children with a range of abilities and needs.
  • Assist and support the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop interventions to address them.
  • Collaborate with other clinical staff, including Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Successful completion of a state licensure examination.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
