Operations Manager in Training

At Mike's Carwash, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager in Training to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for learning all aspects of our carwash operations and preparing for a General Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the Mike's Carwash Purpose and deliver on our Team Member Promise
  • Satisfy customers by maintaining acceptable wash quality, staffing, and professionally handling customer complaints and damages
  • Develop management teams by completing checklists on time and ongoing development through one-on-one meetings, quarterly performance check-ins, and performance appraisals
  • Develop wash associates by completing location orientation and training checklists as needed and ongoing coaching and training
  • Maximize location profitability by increasing profits, minimizing expenses, and ensuring proper records and inventories are kept
  • Ensure operational excellence by completing OPEX checklists thoroughly and in a timely fashion and maintaining staffing within guidelines
  • Create a safety-conscious culture by training and promoting vehicle and personal safety and following the progressive discipline process for any safety violations
Requirements:
  • Extensive operational experience including proven ability to lead and develop small teams, hit goals consistently, and execute day-to-day upkeep of facilities and/or equipment
  • A degree in an applicable field may be a suitable substitution for operational experience
  • Ability to work at least five days and 40 hours each week, including every other weekend, and have the capabilities to close at least one night each week and open at least one morning each week
  • Ability to transfer between stores within the market and work at all locations in their assigned region
