Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead the development of our current and next-generation computer vision models for automated patient monitoring. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and Python programming to tackle complex healthcare challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Computer Vision Algorithms

Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and models for image and video analysis, object detection, tracking, and recognition to drive innovation in patient monitoring.

Lead Research Initiatives

Conduct research to address patient monitoring challenges using image data and contribute to solving domain-specific virtual care problems, staying at the forefront of computer vision and machine learning advancements.

Collaborate with Teams

Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and conduct experiments to evaluate deep neural networks and machine learning systems, focusing on deep learning techniques and their applications in healthcare.

Data Collection and Preprocessing

Collect, preprocess, and annotate data sets for training and evaluation of computer vision models, performing data augmentation and validation to ensure model accuracy and efficiency.

Experimentation and Benchmarking

Conduct experiments and benchmarks to measure the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of computer vision algorithms and systems, evaluating and selecting appropriate machine learning models and techniques for specific tasks.

Staying Up-to-Date

Stay current with the latest advancements in Computer Vision/ML research and contribute to integrating relevant technologies into our projects, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning, or relevant practical experience.

Technical Skills

Experience in developing machine learning algorithms or applications, with exposure to real-world projects; proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Personal Qualities

Enthusiasm for joining a dynamic start-up environment and making a meaningful impact; familiarity with software development practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
