The Business Analyst is responsible for driving continual improvements and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and improve performance at Entergy. This position involves working closely with procurement and supply chain teams, as well as business unit leaders, to process timely, relevant, and accurate data, and develop and implement supply chain performance planning, measurement, and management frameworks.

  • Main Responsibilities

  • At all times put safety first and actively promote a safe work environment.

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets from various sources, including databases and flat files, to extract insights and inform business decisions.

  • Apply data analytics practices and tools, such as Power BI, to develop and present data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Independently analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.

  • Presents data and information in a clear and concise manner, using technical and business terminology to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-2 years of technical, systems, and/or analytical experience, depending on the level of Analyst (I or II).

  • Professionally recognized supply chain/procurement certification, or equivalent related experience, is preferred.

  • Decisive leadership abilities, with the skill to influence others to action, and to successfully implement strategies and process improvements.

  • Extensive knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methods, and the application to daily activities to drive performance improvement.

  • Ability to communicate complex scenarios and data, clearly articulate the organization's strategy, and translate organizational strategy into departmental strategies and plans.
