We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites - Moab, UT. As a key contributor to our hotel's success, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations.

As a Front Desk Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Booking guest reservations and coordinating with the reservation center
  • Registering guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates
  • Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests
  • Handling confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
  • Answering and routing calls as appropriate, taking guest messages with accuracy
  • Resolving minor guest complaints to their satisfaction, informing supervisors of major problems or unhappy guests

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A good understanding of procedures and practices in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Good leadership and training abilities

In your first few months as a Front Desk Agent, you can expect to learn about our hotel's amenities, assist the front desk team, and demonstrate your leadership skills. As your work progresses, you will become a key contributor to the overall guest experience.
