We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Physicians Salem OB/GYN. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.
- Process and document test results, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
- Certification in diagnostic ultrasound, in accordance with state regulations.
- Current ARRT or ARDMS license.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
