Key Responsibilities

The Loan Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Tracking and processing daily loan insurance mail and cancellations
  • Reviewing and verifying loan documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinating with loan officers and title companies to schedule closing appointments
  • Preparing and disbursing loan funds, as well as processing payoff letters and releases
  • Monitoring and resolving loan discrepancies and issues
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Loan Operations Specialist will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in loan processing or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Proficient typing and computer skills, with experience using loan processing software and systems

The Loan Operations Specialist will be required to:

  • Remain stationary at a desk for long periods of time
  • Move about the office to access file cabinets, storage drawers, and various office equipment
