Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Cellular Sales. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business decisions with data-driven insights.

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for developing analytical tools and reports that support the decision-making process of the business. This includes:

  • Discovering and translating analytical trends within our data to team members within Business Operations
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports
  • Creating and peer-reviewing basic to advanced SQL queries
  • Listening to business needs and converting those into business requirements with minimal direction
  • Creating new SSRS reports or Power BI reports based on requirements collected
  • Maintaining existing solutions while looking for opportunities to improve
  • Collaborating with other team members to consolidate the data landscape to reduce development time and increase consistency among BI solutions
  • Tracking, monitoring, and communicating changes in reporting platforms and data sources to provide insight to larger BI and IT teams
  • Mentoring Jr. BI Analysts on the team
  • Actively participating in team meetings and providing valuable insights to help advance the team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience using SQL
  • Familiarity with the MS Power Platform
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting stored procedures and other TSQL code
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Microsoft Stack (SQL, SSRS)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI (or similar Front-end BI tool)

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment. The physical demands of this role are largely sedentary, with some filing required.
