Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including taking vital signs, drawing lab specimens, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams, and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
  • Provide patient education and instructions on medical procedures and treatments, promoting patient understanding and empowerment.
  • Triage patients and provide immediate support as needed, prioritizing patient care and well-being.
  • Compile and analyze medical data to prepare reports for outcomes measurement and program efficacy, contributing to the improvement of patient care and services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in Electronic Health Record, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current State RN nursing license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience working in a physician office or similar healthcare setting.
