We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chair Van Driver to join our team at ALERT AMBULANCE SERVICE INC. As a Chair Van Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation to non-ambulatory or disabled persons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Shift Checklist
    • Complete equipment checklist, check fluid levels, and perform a visual inspection of lights and exterior
    • Restock equipment and inform Shift Supervisor/Dispatcher of any deficiencies or problems
  • On-the-Road Responsibilities
    • Respond to facilities or specific addresses as instructed by dispatch to provide care and transportation
    • Maintain constant communication contact with dispatch while on the road
  • Post-Call Procedures
    • Complete documentation on all calls in a legible manner and to the standard expected within the company
    • Ensure vehicle is appropriately stocked, cleaned, and maintained
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Carry out all assignments in a timely and professional manner
    • Maintain professional radio procedures in accordance with company policy and procedures
    • Conduct oneself in a manner that never endangers a patient or the credibility of the company
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
    • Ability to lift and carry 125 pounds
    • Maintain an active Driver's License
    • Maintain all appropriate and mandate credentials as defined by the company
