About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Origination Support: Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, including analysis of capital structure, credit profile, and industry research.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Prepare market comparables, initial due diligence lists, and deal pre-screen presentations.
  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the execution of lead-arranged transactions by preparing marketing materials, organizing bank meetings, and negotiating legal documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Interface with banker coverage and other partners to coordinate and execute transactions, ensuring effective deal timelines.
  • Business Judgment and Analysis: Develop business and credit judgment, providing balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners.
  • Pipeline Management: Assist with the maintenance and updating of the department pipeline.
  • Data Management: Manage the collection and input of comparative transaction data into an existing database.
Requirements
  • Education: Business degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years banking experience, with experience preparing financial models and forecasts preferred.
  • Skills: Strong financial and analytic skills, ability to rapidly assimilate complex information, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other productivity-based applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills, time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple assignments.
