We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Exponent in Phoenix, AZ. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work collaboratively with our team to assess and develop engineering solutions for a wide range of electrical and electronics-related challenges. Your expertise will be applied across various disciplines, from consumer electronics devices to automotive electronic systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analyses, including circuit analysis, design reviews, safety compliance investigations, code reviews, and failure analyses.
  • Conduct reliability and failure analysis for electrical/electronic systems and components, as well as computer systems, power equipment, and computer networks.
  • Present technical results and solutions to diverse audiences through verbal, written, and interactive communication.
  • Develop and prepare technical proposals, pursue business development opportunities, and expand Exponent's services to clients.
  • Obtain a professional license in Electrical Engineering.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical background in electrical engineering, electronics, controls, embedded systems, or automation.
  • Experience in designing, constructing, and performing tests in a laboratory, including hands-on experience with electrical instruments and measurement devices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industries.
  • Ability to support multiple group projects and market Exponent's Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice and its consulting services.
