Drive My Way - CDL A OTR Dry Van Driver in the West

River City Transport is a family-owned and operated asset-based provider with terminals in the Midwest and West Coast. We're seeking full-time CDL A OTR Dry Van Drivers in the West to join our team.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Average annual pay: $95,000+
  • Top driver annual pay: $115,000+
  • Guaranteed pay: $1,000 per week
  • Additional pay: breakdown pay, layover pay, detention pay, and clean inspection report incentives
  • Bonuses: referral bonus, quarterly safety bonus, and holiday pay

  • Paid time off: 5 days after 1 year of service and 10 days after 3 years of service
  • Paid orientation: approximately 1 day with $150 pay

Home Time, Route, and Schedule
  • Home time: 1 day home for each week on the road
  • Schedule: on the road weeks at a time
  • Route: primarily West and Midwest states
  • Level of touch: 100% no-touch freight, mostly drop and hook
Equipment
  • Freightliner sleepers
  • All trucks are automatic
  • Amenities: refrigerators, XM radio, new mattresses, heated and cooled seats
  • Governed speed: 73 MPH on the pedal and 70 MPH on cruise
  • Outward cameras and event-triggered ELD equipped using Motive system
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Must have CDL A license
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial tractor-trailer driving experience
  • No DUIs or felony driving convictions in the last 5 years
  • No major violations in the last 3 years
  • No more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a background check and required pre-employment drug screen
