About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Public Health Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Washington County, OR. As a key member of our Communicable Disease (CD) team, you will play a critical role in preventing and controlling communicable diseases in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinical program logistics and implement policies and procedures for nurses
  • Supervise clinical staff and provide guidance on clinical protocols and standing orders
  • Collaborate with Health Officer and colleagues to update program policies and procedures related to communicable diseases
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness
  • Coordinate work with external agencies and educational institutions to advance public health goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school
  • Two years of increasingly responsible experience in community health nursing, nursing supervision, or program coordination
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Oregon
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
