Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at McCoy's Chophouse. As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning guests.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict food safety and quality control procedures to ensure that our guests receive safe and delicious food.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our menu demands.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control our food costs to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Team Development: Identify and develop the skills and talents of our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of two years of progressive and relevant experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our front-of-house team.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
