About the Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a Home Health setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care in a Home Health environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes, including assessments, treatments, and progress monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities, and develop treatment plans to address any deficits or disorders.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on communication and swallowing techniques, as well as strategies for improving overall communication and swallowing function.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
  • At least one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a Home Health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
