Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as Walking Couriers in Manhattan, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering packages on foot within designated areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages, documents, and small parcels to various locations on foot within Manhattan.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate with the dispatch team to receive and update delivery instructions.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle packages with care.
- Report any delivery issues or delays promptly.
- Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations while on duty.
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to walk long distances and navigate through various neighborhoods in Manhattan.
- Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
