Job Overview

Novalarm Systems Inc is a leading provider of security solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Installation Specialist to join our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40-$50 per hour, with benefits including 100% paid medical for full-time employees who are residents of MA, 50% dependent paid medical for residents of MA, and 401k with company match.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Installation and Testing: The Low Voltage Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing and testing low voltage systems and subsystems across commercial, industrial, and residential clients.
  2. Wire Management: This includes pulling and feeding wires, securing them according to state electrical code requirements, and troubleshooting issues related to wire connections.
  3. System Commissioning: The successful candidate will commission security system, fire alarm system, CCTV, and other access control devices, ensuring they meet applicable electrical code requirements and regulations.
Requirements
  • MA Class D Low Voltage Electrical License: A valid license is required; a MA Journeyman Class B electrical license is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in low voltage electrical systems, preferably with NICET certifications and Bosch experience.
  • Skillset: Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service ability, and the ability to follow oral and written direction.
