Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the maintenance of communal spaces, offices, resident accommodations, equipment, and outdoor areas of the community.
  • Implementing and documenting preventative maintenance strategies for both the community and its equipment.
  • Conducting training sessions on emergency response protocols and safety procedures for staff members.
  • Refurbishing resident accommodations between tenants to maintain high standards.
  • Maintaining a flexible work schedule, including on-call responsibilities, to ensure the safety of residents.

Your Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated safe working practices with the ability to identify and mitigate potentially hazardous conditions.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry work, along with knowledge of budget management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.
  • A genuine interest in providing care for the senior community.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
