Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity DevOps Expert to join our team at Base2 Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive DevSecOps capability that enables application security, secure deployment, and operations across various security domains, deployment models, and environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS services. You will also possess excellent knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems, as well as programming languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C.

In this role, you will work closely with our development team to automate risk characterization, monitoring, and mitigation across the application lifecycle. You will also be responsible for configuring, upgrading, operating, and managing essential tools, including GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Xray, Selenium, Fortify, and Acunetix.

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, and low-to-high software engineering methods, as well as experience with version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, or CVS. You will also be required to provide Tier 0 through 3 support to customers for our DevSecOps Services and perform ongoing security audits and analysis of system access and logs to identify anomalies and support Zero Trust (ZT) principles.
